conditional formatting

Very simple

Format -> conditional Formatting -> Condition
Cell Value is -> greater than -> 200

Click on Format

Choose the formatting

Say OK.

BTW: If you are not very familiar with Conditional Formatting, it has many many great uses and is very flexible. Use the "SEARCH" link here on OzGrid (above -- next to the hour glass unde rthe OzGrid logo) and do a serach for "Conditional Format" and you will get a long list of threads with lots of variations on its use.

Here is some code that will apply the Conditional Format to the range A1:B3

        .FormatConditions.Add Type:=xlCellValue, Operator:=xlGreater, _

        .FormatConditions(1).Interior.ColorIndex = 35

Of course, you can change the color index to a different color if the light green isn't what you want.
