One of the end-users working on my spreadsheet has been complaining that sometimes she types into a cell and then all of a sudden Excel switches to another worksheet within the workbook. Is there a shortcut she is hitting on accident or might the explanation be more complicated?

Sounds like there is a hyperlink in the cell (perhaps "invisible"). Right-click on the cell and if there is a hyperlink, then you will see two more menu options in the pop-up, "Delete Hyperlink" or "Edit Hyperlink"
also check the VBA to ensure you do not have a worksheet change event (look in the sheet that is jumping).
Following code can help you to get a complete list of all the links on a particular sheets shown on a new sheet
You can then go through the list and determine if there is any unwanted link.
