Disable Code

Hi All,

I would like to disable my code when the workbook is SAVED AS anything other than what the workbook is currently called.

Any ideas?

Do you want to prevent anyone changing the Workbook name? Otherwise you would need to delete all VBA in the new Workbook.

Hi Roy,

No, basically I have a workbook with code in it which pulls data from another source when the workbook is opened. When the user saves this workbook under a different name i.e. Adds xxx to end of the filename, I'd like the code to be disabled so that anyone in the future who views that workbook wont be bombarded with running code.

If that makes sense?

In the first line of each macro you could have a line that says
If ThisWorkbook.Name<>"Original Name goes here" then End
