An example workbook would help.
I have created 3 named ranges based on the Table, the first one is used to select the Category based on the Header Row, then the other two represent the columns in the Table. Using the Table makes the names Dynamic.
The formula for the Data Validation in H5 is =INDIRECT($G$5)
Make a selection in G5 and the available list will change in H5

Sadly the user who will be using the file is a VERY novice user, and I know at time new columns will need adding to the table...
So is there a way to be able to allow for that, without naming that new column as a range.
Maybe something using INDEX & MATCH?
There comes a point when Novice learner needs to start learning some basic uses of Excel, adding a Named Range is not that difficult.
