Inserting signature into Excel worksheet

  • I am working with Excel 2007. I have created a worksheet which requires a signature to be embedded at the appropriate place. I can insert a signature in .jpg or .bmp format into a spare area of the worksheet but I then have two problems..

    • When I move the image to the area where the signature needs to be placed , the image blocks out the underlying text.
    • I cannot always format the image so as to ‘Send to back’ or ‘Send to front’. Clicking on the image , I can sometimes activate the Format options but at other times , they are disabled.

    Can anyone help ?
