Chart Point Format

    Hi All,


    Any thoughts on how to format chart points that contain specific text?


    I have a chart that has many series of data, these have 5 data points in each and contain Specif Text like "GP1, GP2, GP3, GP4, GP5" in the name


    i.e. A series has 5 data points in each group, if a data point name contains the text "GP1" then colour = red and so on.


    I hope this is able to be understood.

    I attached a sample file to try and explain a little more


    Basically, I want to show all the data points that are named GP1 with a fill color Green, GP2 with fill color Red, GP3 with fill color Blue, GP4 with fill color Yellow, GP5 with fill color Black


    I have tried a few sites that show formatting data points by label but I could not get anything to work as I need it too.

    It is about how you set your table up and you will need to set yours up in a different way - or at least calculate it differently. Here is a quick example of how I would do what you are trying to do. The colours line up because all the data needs to be on the same line.


    Have a look at the attached example. Hope this points you in the right direction.
