an error message

    Whenever I open Microsoft Word 2016 for an error message pops out saying that it is not able to start correctly. How to overcome this? I am hoping someone in this community could provide me with some answers.

    If Microsoft Word starts as expected when you use the /s switch, "Safe Mode" appears in the Word title bar. If Word starts in Safe Mode, use a process of elimination to step through the following areas that Word bypasses in Safe mode, until the problem is corrected.
    If Word does not start in Safe Mode, proceed to Method 2- https://www.repairtoolbox.com/wordrepair.html
