I was hoping for some advice on the best way to use Excel to perform the following.
In short, I want to do Quality Assurance on my service desk tickets using excel.
Each month I run a report which includes all the tickets raised by my team, which includes the ticket number, userID who raised the ticket, status, summary, resolution, etc.
I want my team leaders to review these tickets for all members on the team.
What I am essentially looking at is the best way to lookup the userID from 'Sheet 3', with the monthly data in 'Sheet 1'. Match 5 tickets randomly from that user from Sheet 1 and populate accordingly in Sheet 3?
I have been searching a bunch of techniques online but nothing has really worked, which is a mix of Formulas as well as VBA script. From what I can see, VBA is probably the more likely chance of being able to do this, unfortunately I am not that strong in VBA.
Hoping for any assistance, and if required happy to attach the spreadsheet.
