Good afternoon all.
I have a bit of code that if a checkbox on a userform is TRUE, then it opens a word document located in a specific directory.
My only problem now is that at times, the file may not already be there.
Im looking at massaging the code so that as soon as the check box is ticked, it looks for the file.
If the file is there, continue to open, if the file is not, then it throws up a msg box stating so.
I've had a look around, but can't seem to manipulate other code to make anything work.
This is my code so far ..
Code
If frmAddApplication.cbFormFNA.Value = True Then
Set WordDocFNA = AppWord.Documents.Open(memberLocation & "Financial Needs Analysis.doc")
' here I want
.. ElseIf Set WordDocFNA = AppWord.Documents.Open(memberLocation & "Financial Needs Analysis.doc") is not there Then
msgbox "Form not in directory"
End If
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
