I have individual hyperlinks in individual cells on a worksheet and I want to be able to protect the worksheet so users can only select/use the hyperlink without selecting the cell.
Is there a VBA code I need to do this please?

This solution I have is only workable depending on where the hyperlinks go and how many of them you have; I have a workbook with several individual VBA sub routines that only activate a certain sheet. I then insert text boxes in a given sheet and assign the relevant sub routine to those text boxes. If you have thousands of hyperlinks, this solution is probably not very practical. I'm still looking for a solution myself that handles (lots of) links on a protected sheet to (multiple different) web pages or files on a server.
There's an option to allow hyperlinks when you set worksheet protection. Add the hyperlinks before protecting the sheet, then check the hyperlink option when protecting

Roy, the only caveat to your suggestion is that users must be allowed to select locked (and, by extension, unlocked cells). In the situation I mentioned above, I have a sheet in a material pricing database in which all cells are locked as there are necessary formulas on that sheet that I don't want everyone with access to the sheet to be able to view. On the aforementioned sheet, there are hundreds of links that call back to material pricing quotes to show where the latest pricing in the database came from and when; the idea being whenever a new quote is received, the link gets updated in accordance with our document retention/storage policy. I have yet to find a workaround for my issue in Excel. Ideally, I would be using a program other than Excel to accomplish this database (absolutely no offense to Excel as it is a wonderful program), but at the moment, this is the toolset available to me.
It works for me whether bI allow access to cells or not.
I wonder if my issue is related to the fact I'm stuck in Excel 2010? All our MS Office products are 2010 as of the writing of this post.
That I'm not sure, I use Office 365 and unfortunately it's not possible to run earlier versions along side.
