I'm attempting to to calculate the time duration between two dates with equivalent time stamps.
The two dates and equivalent times are in individual cells, therefor occupy 4 cells total. The formula below is the best I could do, however I can't seem to get the value in cell E4 to show in format hh:mm:ss.
Might be as simple as formatting issue. Changing cell E4 format to time changes "105" to "00:00:00".
How to calculate time duration from date & times in individual times?

Hi,
Forget photos which are inert ...:sniff:
Much better is to attach your file ... with an illustration of your expected result ...

Done

I guess the expected result would be "105:24:16" o something along those lines in cell E4.

Attached is your test file
You will notice the Custom Format used for the duration ...
Result seems to be: 105:19:38 (hh:mm:ss)
Hope this will help

Once you have tested the formula ... feel free to share your comments

Wow, it seems I over-complicated the equation.
Thanks a mil
The odd part, is after so many online searches, nobody has put it this way. -
Glad you could fix your problem ... with quite a simple solution ...
Thanks for your Thanks ...
