hi all
I have lots of files in the folder: "\\filesrv\users\omri\Desktop\TEST"
And I want to move those files by the names in column G to the folder in column D
to example: in "D2"=36-PLAT-7074 AND "G2"=MACHINING
Then it will search with the name folder of the file 36-PLAT-7074 And put it in the folder with the name machining

What kind of files are you moving?
Is the list on SW1?
-
The list is in SW1,
The folder name is from the list in column G and within these folders there are PDF or STEP files, the folders themselves I want to move to folders by the names found in column D
-
I think you want to move the files listed in Column D to the corresponding Folder in G. I s that right?
-
-
yes
-
I'll take a look for you.

The problem is that you do not include the extension name, so if you cannot do that the code will need to run through each file twice.
-
I don't mind the main thing is that it will sort the files, because I have about 500 files that are in folders and I've already sorted them in Excel but in folders it's not sorted
-
-
Where is the source folder?
-
"\\filesrv\users\omri\Desktop\TEST"
-
Ok, I'll look at it later
-
Do the folders in D already exist in the same folder?
-
They do not exist,
