Vlookup formula for sum the values with filtering the data's month wise

Dear Team,

I need Vlookup formula for filter the data's and sum the values.

In sheet1 i am entering the month and amount values manually. And in sheet2 i want to sum the values by filtering the month wise and update there.

For example in sheet2 if i enter Jan, then this formula needs to filter the Jan2020 data's only and sum that value and update on sheet2.

I am attaching my sample file here.

Can any one kindly help me for solve this.

But when i run this code the value is updating 0 only. Can you please check where is the mistake on this code.

using pivot table this cannot fulfill my requirement. once this calculation is done, with this i am have another calculation with this result. So kindlt help me
