VBA if Cell contains date then automatically add text to a different cell

  • Logit,

You are genious, right hit to the point but still giving me the below debugger for some reason :(

    See attached

  • What version of Excel are you running and is it 32 bit or 64 bit ?

    See attached.

    Logit

Yes working now on your workbook, marvellously but on mine the same issue..

and yes its 2010 64 bit

Thanks anyways, u all tried and I appreciate that.

  • .

There must be something corrupted with your version of Excel.

I would try deleting Excel. Then re-install it and see what happens.

Also use your anti-virus software as well.

  • I will do that friend

Thanks so much... definitely the issue is on my end.

Much appreciated, you're done ur part in perfect way.

  • Glad to help ... but let us know how things turn out.

So Logit, I think I found where the issue is....

The sheet that use is a working sheet with 620 rows, - only this one is returning the debugger... even if I put

    [code]For Each c In Source.Range("P1:P10000") ' Do 10000 rows

    If c = myString Then

    c.Offset(0, 6).Value = "delivered"[code]

So When I run a shorter row sheet it works perfectly though...

  • .

Use this macro instead. It determines how many rows are in use automatically. You don't need to set the maximum

    amount of rows.
