Hi, im trying to create a macro.
When I type OOO into a cell it will replace the OOO with the contents of a different cell. Is this possible? I tried to do it with conditional formatting, but couldn't work it out. Thanks for help!

Is that numeric or letters?
letters
You could use some VBA code
I am really new to this, im not really sure where to start. I know I need a macro /vba code but not sure how to write it
I've just added an example to my previous post
It's worksheet event code so read this o know where to paste the code
Thanks heaps. Its very close to what I am after. I have attached a copy of what im after. The skull pic in cell A1 (the one I want copied) comes up small and black once copied. Is there a way to make it big and red like the original picture?
Sorry I didn't realise the forums were linked. Have posted elsewhere.

You didn't mention a picture, I'll take a look but it might be tomorrow before I get back to you, I'm off out now.
Change the code to this
Thank you so much for your help! its perfect

Thanks for your help. Sorry to be a pain, but how can I get it to go across the entire workbook (with multiple tabs)
Use the WorkBook's SheetChange event which will allow the code to work in any sheet.
In the example the cell that is copied is Sheet2, Range("A1"). This is copied to any sheet that the cell is changed on.
