From Word to PDF picture display only partly

I make a weekly digizine in Word and then always use print to pdf to make it a pdf-document. Since shortly I notice that the pictures in the pdf do not show correctly. It seems as if they do not fit in the place where they belong. As a consequence, only part of the picture is shown and that part is bigger than normal. I have installed a new pdf reader (adobe instead of foxit) but the problem remains. Your help is very much appreciated!
