Posted code loses indentation formatting

I had posted this question last year and I'm wondering if anyone has an update. When I post code with indentation formatting using code tags in a thread, exit the thread and then open the thread again, the code I posted loses the indentation formatting. This is very frustrating because if I copy paste the code I have to reformat it to re-insert the indentation to make it easier to read. Does anyone have any idea of why this might be happening?!!!!
