very grateful!!!!!
ok i noticed one lil thing
the function that replicates the row from "Main sheet" to the next available row in "Outstanding Bins" and "Overweight bin" only copies to the next available row downwards, not upwards.
So if i delete the information in row 3 in outstanding bins sheet and overweight bin sheet, and add another row of information from the main sheet that copies to outstanding bin sheet or overweight bin sheet, that information replicates to row 4, not row 3..
then again, it may not need to be tweaked because i can sort it?
-
Whenever you are deleting data ... say in the sheet Outstanding Bins ...
does it create an empty row between the Headers row and the next populated row ...?
-
Ya when i delete the row in outstanding bins, it leaves the rows empty between the header and the next populated row if values are replicated from the main sheet
-
Given the actual structure of your workbook ...
1. As you said it, an extremely quick fix is indeed to sort the sheet ...
or
2. Could add a right-click event mouse which would easily delete the selected row ...
Your choice ...
-
option 1 sounds better lol

thank you!!!

You are more than Welcome

hey there lol
quick question
is there a way to automatically calculate 0.13 in sale taxes in Bin Prices "Column C", if a specific text is used in Payment Type "Column D"?
for example if i select
E-Transfer
Cheque
Credit Card
if so does it need a macro?
or is it a formula that can be added to my setting sheet?
-
Hello,
Since you are using Data Validation to set your Bin Prices ...
Have a go with following tiny modification : Add Sales Tax 13% for Non-Cash Payments ...
For your info ... there is NO tracking of your potential various consecutive changes ...
Hope this will help
-
hey just got in, works great, you gonna hate me lol
so i decided to rearrange some columns lol, keep customer information to the left and bin information to the right
I can do the formula tweaking for the drop down menus.
but not the macro lol
here is the file of what i want to switch around
Name of new columns are in brackets inside the header
Also for Column F (Extra Days)
1 Day=$15
2 Days=$30....etc
So iF i type "1", can that price be automatically added to the bin price in Column C once entered?

Before diving into the intricacies of re-coding everything ....
Safer to get a formal confirmation :
- F to J
- G to I
- H to K
- I to G
- J to H
- K to F
- L to L
-
Hello again,
In addition to your confirmation for all the Columns to be permuted ... you should also clarify your Bin Price calculation process ...
Indeed, by using a Data validation for prices ...
1. on one hand, you do NOT have a formula to adjust neither for 13% Sales Tax nor for the $15 charge per Extra Day ...
2. on the other hand, indeed the macro can automatically perform these adjustments ... BUT ... there is no way back ... (which is automatic with a formula ...) and, as a consequence, any price correction will require re-selecting a ' basic ' price in Column C ...
