VBA - sorting data in table and inputting data into separate table on separate sheet.

Sorry I was having some difficulties.

I am trying to take information from one table and putting it into a separate table in another sheet.

I have attached my example and this is what I am looking for:

If in sheet(Parts List) in column(Spare Part) = "Yes" then input selected information from that row into table in sheet(Spare Parts List).

The selected information is:

Vendor, Manufacturer, Spare part(s) [this is the spare amount], Description, Part Number, Qty Used in Project

this is a sheet that is printed off and given to our maintenance department with all the spare parts ordered to log the parts into their parts crib so they have spares and what they are for

how would you do the auto filter?

do i need to apply this as a macro or is this suppose to happen automatically?

im getting invalid character...its the character before Option Explicit

ok got rid of the character...is there a way to make this happen automatically when the page is selected

also this is not working fully...it pulled Omron and PLC over to the "Spare Parts List" and they do not have "Yes" in Field 19

it seems to be working now. i have no idea what it was doing yesterday. i ran the macro and you can see in the attachment that it also copied and pasted Omron and PLC. i cleared this and tried it multiple times. the one you see in the snapshot is the last one before i left yesterday. the last two sets are from this morning and i thought i would just try it again and sure enough it works just like it is suppose to.

i don't get why it did it because as you said when you read out the code you wrote it clearly should not be copying those over.

this may be too much of a pain, but is there a way that when this macro is run that it does not take over the info that has already been copied over?

if i was the only one to use this workbook it would not be an issue, but i have about 10 people that will all be using this at the same time and all it takes is one person to hit the button and then another and we have a bunch of duplicates

i just found out something interesting. the first time you run the macro when the table is empty it copies and pastes the omron and plc over but does not after that

attached is a new copy of workbook with a button for the macro...check it out and let me know what you see

forgot the attachment but I think I found a better solution. under my addPart macro where I am inputing this information into the parts list table I added a if statement that adds all the information into the spare parts list if SpareLst.value = "Yes"
