New to Excel and apologies in advance if I overlooked this topic via search. My dilemma is as follows:
I have approximately 5,000 individual MSG email files which were taken from Outlook and provided to me on a flash drive. I have been tasked with putting these in a chronology and summarizing each email.
What I would like to do is create an Excel sheet which lists out "To" "From" "Date" "Subject" "Text/Body", etc., so that I may spot search for known items or names most efficiently.
Am I correct my first step is msg to csv coverter? Should I be looking towards PDF instead?
