Populate Calendar Days when the date is input

Hey Guys, I want to have the day rectangle boxes populate automatically and correctly when the date is put in to the top corner of the calendar

To make things simple, I named the date boxes (the rectangles) from 1-35... but other than that, I am a bit clueless as to how I can make this work, because I can't put a formula for the text of a shape...

Any help would be appreciated.

Right, they are very similar but with a few minor differences, this one is a bit more organized and updated. I just scratched the other one and moved onto this one making it a bit simpler and easier to code with... especially with the renamed shapes, which will make going through the calendar much simpler.
