COUNTIF Function and Creating Pivot Table

  • I have to enter in the average abandoned call times along with the amount of abandoned calls each month. So far I created this worksheet I have attached. I enter the info and the top and count out each day for that month and seperate it into the chart I created below. It is suppose to be a total of calls by each half hour increment. I have to enter time in as "0:00:00. I need for it to automatically calculate and go into its column. Either both Abandoned Calls & Seconds or Seconds. The seconds columns are 0-4, 5-9, 10-14 & >15.

I love the look of the example you provided, but I'm still confused as to how I would go about filling in the information. I just want to be able to enter information in and have it calculate under each 'Seconds' column. Whatever way you would advise is easier then that will be the way I go. I thank you for helping me this far Herbds7.

All you have to do is plug your undisclosed raw data into my Table2
    and press the "Update" button.
The data you provided in your Excel file can not be used.

On your Table 2 the time has to be the same as the time on the Pivot Table. I have to enter in hold times so it is important to see that a call was placed on hold for 0:03:25 before hanging up between 6:00-6:30am. I tried to enter info, but when I click on Updatean error message of "Run-time error '1004': Cannot open PivotTable source file Documents and Settings etc". I have the option to press End, Debug, or Help. When I press End it takes away the Pivot Table. When I press Debug it goes to Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications Module with what looks like Commands and takes away the Pivot Table.

My program (macro) is based on counting events of discrete lengths,
    occurring at random mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss date/times
and lasting for random mm:ss of time.
To include any other features or formats would require re-writing the macro.
If you can't now read the current macro fluently, the task is well nigh out of your reach.
    Good Luck.

Ok, I think I KINDA figured it out. Don't get sick of me yet Herbds, lol. I entered info in and clicked update. This time it did not take the Pivot Table away. But what I am still confused about is, when I enter the date would I need to enter a time right next to it, where do I get that time from?
