Trying to select and retrieve data (e.g.) Name , Adress, Telephone..etc. from information that is stored on Sheet9.. While I am on sheet1 just buy typing in
only the Name
Name ABC Company of Florida...(only type this cell) and the rest fills in ?
Address 1234 West Street
Miami, FL. 00000
Tel # 305-555-1234
I see it done on many programs but don't have a clue

Hi, James,
Assuming your data on Sheet9 are in tabluar from (Names down a column, Address down a column, etc.) and the thing you want to type in (Name?) is in the left most column, then VLOOKUP will do what you want. So would a change detection macro.
For the VLOOKUPs, enter them ahead of time in the cells with an IF that returns "" if there is no exact match and they won't display until you enter a valid Name in the first column.

What the heck, here's a quick example. Note the column B and C formulas on Sheet1 are alrady entered through row 25. The valid names are the ones in column A of Sheet9.
