ActiveX controls doesn't work anymore from 01/01/2015 on XP

  • Hello everybody,
this is my first post. I hope to put it in the right place. Here is my question:
i wrote some applications in VBA running on a W7 x64 PC, which generate several files stored in a different pc running Windows XP. Inside these files are some buttons which launch some macros. Everything was working fine until the end of 2014. From the beginning of 2015 (but it may be only a coincidence), these buttons inside the files work on the PC which runs W7, but not on the PC running XP. It looks like they are disabled even though they aren't. The only way to make them work is to open the development tool, open VBA manager, launch the debug utility, save and exit the file. Doing so the buttons are working back.
I don't know why this issue occur and how to solve it.
I thought a solution would be to automatically launch the debug utility on open, but I don't know how to do this and if it is feasible.
Thanks to anyone could give me an help.
    Ermanno
