    Hi everyone,

your help is welcome and appreciated.

    thanks in advanced

  • Re: looking up a name withing sort of data w/out repeating the previous looked name.

Hi, i see the file, but still confused what you're trying to do, you have name to lookup like "Jan", "Feb" and so on, but what the results?

  • Re: looking up a name withing sort of data w/out repeating the previous looked name.

    Hello Azumi,

thank you again. sorry for the confusion im bringing you.

as you can see in my file, i want to look up (either using the look up function or match/index whichever is better) each one on the list of names from the aggregated data from the left side.
For example, I want to look for the name "apri" and get its "stat" and "date match". the desire result should project "m" and "monday" (take note: this is only for the first name "apri"). however when im trying to look up for the second "apri" which has the stat different "u" and "wednesday", i keep on getting the first "apri" which has been already looked up.

that's it. hope the explanation will suffice. Please ignore the formula on the uploaded file if its confusing.

  • Re: looking up a name withing sort of data w/out repeating the previous looked name.

    Hi Azumi,

    Good morning (HKT)

Thank you so much for this. Think this would help surely.

Looking forward for your help once again.

  • Re: looking up a name withing sort of data w/out repeating the previous looked name.

    Hi Azumi,

Thank you so much. Thats really a helpful one.

One last thing, can you see this one?
