I am not well versed in VBA at all; although, I've been dabbling for a little while. Now, I am trying to make a new user control for a project, but have no idea how to do it.
This image <> is what the user control is to be based on. The small circles should be selectable working from left to right and top to bottom. Thus, if you click the fourth circle from the left on the top row, the value should equal 4, and it should fill the first, second, third, and fourth circle from the left (black) on the top row. If you click the second circle from the left on the bottom row, the value should equal 7, and it should fill the first and second circle from the left (black) on the bottom row, and the entire top row should be filled. Clicking a different circle than the max should change the value to that circle and fill the circles accordingly. Clicking the highest-valued dot (filled circle) should clear the selection to its minimum value. The ellipse on the right, should be a second value, representing the value of the filled in circles to the left, plus any external modifier; this value is an integer and should appear as an absolute value (black for positive results and red for negative results).
You should be able to manipulate the following parameters:
- Current value (the filled circles),
- Modified value (the number shown in the ellipse),
- Min value (cannot be unselected),
- Max value (grayed-out circles are indication of not selectable as a result of Max value), and
- Size (should maintain aspect ratio)
Best regards,
Graham
