Assistance with the following would be appreciated. I've searched the forum for guidance but I can't find anything that refers to number formats:
I have a range of cells (E4:H4) on a spreadsheet containing formulae that perform calculations on data contained in other cells on the same worksheet. The four cells are formatted as numbers with two decimal places.
Sometimes the results displayed in these four cells requires that the result should be shown to three decimals. I want to conditionally format these four cells by referring to cell D3; if D3 is less than 0.10 then range("E4:H4") should be formatted to three decimals, otherwise it should be formatted to two decimals. I guess this is an 'If / Then / Else' situation - but that's where my knowledge comes to an abrupt halt!
In case it's relevant, cell D3 obtains its value from a vlookup formula and has a general format.
Many thanks
