Selecting Large data range for pivot table

I have a large table extracted from a database. I created a pivot table from all of the data contained in the worksheet. It took me a long time to manually select the range, using the shift ctrl end commands. I wonder what the fastest way is to select a large range of data. Thnx.

I guess my question must have sounded like a no-brainer. I am really old school. I learned Excel when it was still Lotus 1-2-3. I guess I need to brush up on my keyboard short cuts. Well that will save mea LOT of time in the future. Thanks a bunch.
