.Range("A:B") vs .Columns("A:B")

Is there any advantage to this code:

Code

With Worksheets("Sheet1")
  .Range("A:B").NumberFormat = "0.00"
End With

vs

Code

With Worksheets("Sheet1")
  .Columns("A:B").NumberFormat = "0.00"
End With

or vice versa?

I wouldnt think so... no.

Aside from the fact that you shouldnt ever really do any operation down an entire column... Thats a hell of a lot of rows you might accidentally affect and inadvertently increase the file size of your workbook dramatically.
