I want a macro to run on everyday at 5 pm daily

Have You considered to use the Windows Task Scheduler where You set program & file like:

pathtoexefile\excel.exe Yourworkbook.xls

If you insist doing it in XL then following snippet code may help You:

Maybe a different way i was asked to force a save at the end of the day by a guy i work with - this is what i came up with, hope it offers a choice to those solutions already provided.

I use the task scheduler.

I simply point it at this file http://ozgrid.com/forum/viewth…attachment&tid=63&pid=348

and it launches with out a hitch. It open several automatically generated reports and then saves the reports several ways.
