I enter data in virtually all of my worksheets the same, Number, comma, two decimal places. I can start off establishing this for all cells but invariably I move data around or need new lines in the middle somewhere, etc. and Excel reverts to General for these. This takes a lot of wasted time to reformat. Is there a way to prevent this extra work?

The tips I was referred to did not address my question. I will continue to hope for a tip that does.
