I want to copy the Vertical Lookup formula down from column B and C , from the row above when the VALUE CHANGES in Row A.
I then can use a last row macro to sum and place the Total below the last used line.
If I copy the formula all the way down when I make the worksheet , the lastrow macro gives me a total at the end, not below the last row used.
Copy formula from Row above if Cell Value changes.

Use an Excel builtin Table

Re: Copy formula from Row above if Cell Value changes.
hi Kj, do you have link of how you use builtin table? Sorry just tring to understand how this is done?

Re: Copy formula from Row above if Cell Value changes.
On the ribbon go to the Insert tab, then the second icon will be to insert a Table, click that and define the range for the Table.
If you have an existing manual table you can highlight (select) it, go to Insert & Table and the manual table will be converted to a Excel builtin Table.
Once the Table is created there will be a "Design" ribbon tab whenever you select a cell within the Table, under that tab you can modify the design of the table.
If you Google "Excel Tables" you will find a mass of site dealing with how to use Excel Tables. Getting to know how to use them, and formulas within them is well worth it!
