Change Time AM PM to Duration only

    I have to import the duration of our machine cutting times from Excel to Pastel, but the time format in Excel is shown in [h]:mm:ss AM and PM. How do I change this to just show time duration?. There are no formulas. I am just filling in the duration with each ended process.

    You can set the format of the cell to that by using the custom option.

    Thank you, I did use this, but it does not remove the "AM" and "PM" in the cell.

    It works perfectly here. make sure that you have chosen [h]:mm, not the one with AM and PM after it.

    I am sorry - I can't help you. When I apply exactly the same settings as you, I see no AM or PM in the formula bar at the top - just the time (e.g. 12:30:00).

    No - you just have to be patient. Remember, this is a forum manned by volunteers, not a paid-for service, so you can't always expect to get an immediate response. If you opened another thread on the same issue, it would be against the forum rules and a moderator would close it as a duplicate. You can bump this thread a couple of times a day, though, if you wish, by posting another post to it. I am sorry I can't help, but as I am unable to replicate your issue, there is nothing I can do.


    The other thing you could do is change the thread title in your opening post (or ask a moderator to do it for you) as it does not accurately describe the problem you are having, in fact it seems to say the opposite of what you really want!
