New to the forum and hoping to get a little help. I don't do much with Excel so please bear with me for asking questions!
I have a spreadsheet that has 2 columns, 1 has part numbers/names and the other cell has corrected part numbers/names. I need to combine these to columns to show the part number/name that we will be using, either the original part number/name or if corrected, the corrected part number/name.
Column C1 always have a value in it. Column D1 only has a value in it sometimes.
If D1 is empty copy C1 to B1, if D1 has text copy D1 to B1.
I can copy the part number if D1 is blank
but i cannot figure out how to copy D1 to B1 if there is text in D1.
I hope that is clear enough as to what i am trying to do!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
