Hi,
I'm trying to copy and paste only the first 6 digits for a cell to another macro written excel file.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]72750[/ATTACH]
Above my current code.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]72752[/ATTACH]
Data i'm trying to copy and paste.
i only want to copy the 1st 6 digits.
Right is the data source and left is what i'm getting now.
Possible to write a code that allow me to only copy the first 6 digits and paste into another sheet.

Formulas like =LEFT(Sheet1!A1,6) will get the data to the new sheet.

Does this works on a different file too?
As I export data from another excel file using "ctl r" function to run it.

It is a basic Excel formula that takes data from a different worksheet. What happened when you tried it?
