Format Cell Color if Adjacent cell is blank

This shouldn't be this hard... maybe I'm dumb.

I have a column (F) with a formula that generates a date. I need the cell adjacent to it (Column G) to not format a color (green), when adjacent cell F is blank.

The cells in column G are set to turn green if the date in G is greater than F and Red if its after todays date.
