Excel Cell set as a "text box"?

    I'm looking for the best way to have a "note" placed in an excel spreadsheet.


    I have a cell names "Journal" where I would like to have approximately 20 lines of text. I only have a very small space to work with so this cell needs to have "scrolling" capabilities so I can read the text a little at a time.


    Is there a way to do this in excel?

    If you make the formula bar visible, you will be able to read your text in the formula bar when you select the cell. (Tools>Options>View. Formula Bar checked.)

    I would probably use the comment tool. This way when you select the cell the comment text box pops up and you can format several ways
