Comparing Workbooks

I have a list of ~4000 numbers in one workbook and a list of another 300 numbers in another workbook, same spreadsheet. I have been trying to figure out how to see if the list of 300 is in the list of 4000 and to display a check mark to signify that this number is duplicated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
