Uninstalling A Macro

Can someone tell me how to properly uninstall an Excel Macro?

Hi Sunrise

Opn the VBE (Alt+F11), right click on the Module (e.g. Module1) in the "Project Explorer" then select "Remove Module*" and say No to Export.

If the code is in the Private Module of "ThisWorkbook" or one of the Sheets, just deleting the code is enough.

Thank you David. What about uninstalling an Excel Add-in...which is what I really wanted to and should have asked in the first place...oops, sorry about that?

Tools>Options>Add-ins and uncheck the add-in name.

Hi Dave Hawley !

Once the file open i want to run the macro , after that i want to remove that macro with in that same macro or other macro.

I know it is possible? please tell me how ?

Thanks David, I thought it might have been more difficult to uninstall than to install an add-in than that and I just wanted to double check before going ahead.
