• i want to invoke an excel application from the visual basic program, so as
    to draw a graph in the excel.
    the data points for the graph are in the Vb application and the graph is to be drawn in excel and saved.

  • Can VB save the graph data to a file which is then read by excel?


    Alternatively have the vb application save the data to say a *.csv file then have excel import it using Data, Import External Data (with refresh)

    You can insert an Excel Worksheet and Graph as objects into a Userform in VB.


    Check it out and have a play around, it may save you a lot of trouble trying to pass data to a seperate application.
