    I can't explain it any better than the Help Files ;)

    I've found the fastes way to get binary data in and out of Access is with the Adodb.Stream Object - assuming I have opened an Access Table as a Recordset and it contains an OLE field "image" - and I want to pack a JPEG file... something like

    Code
    S = CreateObject("ADODB.Stream")
    S.Type = 1 ;binary stream
    S.Open()
    S.LoadFromFile(cJPG)
    RS.Fields("image").Value = S.Read(-1)
    S.Close()
    RS.Update()

    Cool, I am glad I did a search before asking. This is exactly what I was looking for. But let me extend the question just a bit.

    How would I set up a default picture(Like a picture that says unavailable)?
