Trying to link data from a Specific Excel cell into a specif

  • I have a sheet listing the information
    A1 name

    B1 address


    I need to figure out how to link this to my form letter to fill in the blanks "so to speak"

    First thought says mail merge, but I don't seem to be able to quite get it.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • I think that mail merge would be the easiest way to go. What version of Word are you working with, and how familiar are you with the merge process?

    You can paste link (copy value: named range or cell values from Excel then paste (special) link into Word ...but if you're using a list then using Mail Merge is without a doubt the right way to go.

    Have you tried using the mail merge wizard or help for mail merge?
