Can i ask what windows version your using on the desktop and network server

Hi Mike

It sounds like you need to Attach the Custom Toolbar to the Workbook.

To attach a Custom Toolbar go to View>Toolbars>Customize-Attach then Copy your Custom Toolbar to the Workbook.

Once this is done, you will Need to Delete it (not as drastic as it sounds) from the Workbook before making any modifications, then Attach it and save. If you don't, your changes will not stick.
