 # Minimum [SOLVED]

• i have these data

1,0,0,.012,2,5,6,8,9

I want to Find a Minimum is not equal to zero

is use the below formula
=small(range,countif(range,0)+1)

suppose if have negative values i can straight away use min(rangE).

Is there any function which finds a Minimum in a range which is not equal to zero?

• Try this Array Formula (Ctrl+Shift+Enter)

MIN(IF(A1:A10<>0,A1:A10))

I put your data range as A1:A10

• Hi.
The following array formula (CTRL+Shift+Enter) will calculate the min value, excluding zero.

{=MIN(IF(A1:A6=0,"",A1:A6))}

• Hi KK

The arrays shown will do the job nicely. However, if you have many of these, and/or reference a large range it would be wise to use the DMIN function. The Dfunctions are very easy to use and the Excel help on these is very good.

The reason I suggest this? Many arrays will slow down Excel's recalculations.
