Cannot save Data with VBA project protected {SOLVED}

I have workbook with VBA protection in the normal way. However, I cannot save any data when I use this workbook. I get a message telling me that "You cannot save to this file format with the VBA Project protected". See attached screenshots.
It is a normal Workbook with the code protected in the normal way using Prperties in the VB Editor and "Locked for Viewing"
Any input will be appreciated

Created with Excel 2002 in Windows XP. Jack has had a look at it for me. I have recreated it from fresh and still get the same message.

Jack thinks it is an Excel glitch of some sort.

Had a similar thing once before but can't remember the exact cause or solution, it had something to do with the Workbook Properties settings.

I'd be checking the VBA Project Properties for This Workbook just incase something was tagged True instead of False by mistake ??

Also it could be that you have it tagged as an addin in the This Workbook Properties ?? Seem to remember something along those lines with hidden sheets ??

Hi Roy

Ok, found the problem but not the reason! The problem is happening because the Workbook is being saved as 95, 97 200 etc. If you unlock the VBE, Remove the password an uncheck the "lock project from viewing", then Save the Workbook as Microsoft Excel Workbook (*.xls), close and re-open. Now go back into the VBE and apply protection you can save.
