Assign autoformat to a macro

  • I am reading a specific book and I am at the macros chapter.At the end of the chapter there is an exrcise that says that u must assign the classic2 style of autoformat to a macro so that u can use it to selected (from the user) cells.Any idea how to do this?(vba coding is not available in this book).Thnx!

    Then Format
    Then AutoFormat
    Then Classic2
    Then Click OK


    I think this is what you are looking for.

    First you must record the action and then assign it to a button or other object for use. These instructions should be very close to the start of your chapter.
    What is the book? Maybe someone here has read that book.
