Hi!
We have a spreadsheet which lists several names in cells in column G. We used "text to column" to break out the names into separate cells (now columns H - R), but the names are horizontal on the spreadsheet and we really need them to be vertical so we can sort them. Is there any way to do this?
Thank you for your help!

I won't be able to try your suggestion until tomorrow but I want to ask the question another way in case there is another answer ...
Is there any way to sort those horizontal cells, horizontally? We need to locate all the cells containing a specific company's name so we can enter information we have received from that company onto the spreadsheet as quickly as possible. Our problem is that the cells we need to sort are horizontal instead of vertical.
Thanks very much!!! -

Hi
YES
If I read this right you wish to not sort top to bottom but left to right, if so then try this I hoe you get as you wish
Save a copy of you work and rename to TEST so we can play and project your work, when you have it solved them of cause try on real work, just in case.
