What do you want to print? Just the Image? If that's the case I don't see how you can print a number on top of it. You need to create your ticket actually in Excel, not an image. Then you can print that with a consecutive number.

I figured out how to transparent a portion of the image. Now in excel i can do everything except specify starting and ending consecutive numbers. This is what i need help with

This seems to work. It will print 3 tickets, each with a consecutive number on each page. See if this helps. I will have another look tomorrow. It's been a long day here.

I figured out Macros problem. I will continue to work on getting numbers to print as they are entered in batch dialog boxes. Not quite right and I know you will look at it tomorrow, thanks

Mike this example will print one ticket per sheet. I am not sure if that is what you want. If you need more than i ticket per sheet the code will need adjusting

i am using these images in the spreadsheet I have posted as examples. The final spreadsheet will have the same exact layout and size but completely different image look. Again images will have same size - layout. the serial number or consecutive number cells that will need to appear are directly behind the images and will be pretty close to this exact position in the final design layout.
What i will need are 12 gift certificates per page and when i click on batch button a dialog will come up saying 1st gift certificate in batch and last gift certificate in batch. then when i click print button in print preview window it will print all pages with the consecutive serial numbers on each serial number on each gift certificate on each progressively generated page of gift certificates.
ex. page 1 will have serial numbers 1-12 page 2 will have 13- 24 etc.

This verion now prints a unique number in multiples of 12. I have tried to match the cells containing numbers to your example, but you have to be precise with your ticket sizes & page setup. This is up to you, the code works fine & is included in a userform whih calculates the last ticket number based on the number of batches that you require.you can see it work on Sheet2. On your ticket page the numbers are not clear, but this is, as I said, down to your ticket formats & page set up. I still think that a simple ticket designed in Excel is the way to go & forget about using images.

I think it is great. You have done what i haven't been able to do. The 1st Gift certificate on each page has the text "FALSE" in the serial number field on each successive page of gift certificates that are printed. Just wondering how to fix that? I am excited that you got it to work, so close to starting the new gift certificate layout and design.

Another option might be to overprint the numbers - ie print your sheets of vouchers, then use the code to overprint them with the numbers.
