[Solved] Get the value of =sum(A1:A10)

let's say i got this Sum by using
=sum(A1:A10) and is on B1
how to get the value of sum and so that i can store this value and use in somewhere,or is it possible to extract the string value in B1 ?

thanks but this is not i want

i want to store the value to temp so that when the subtotal value changes the temp does not change which is derive from earlier.

Hi elf108

You would need VBA to keep the value static. The code below assumes you want the value of B1 stored in cell B2, but ONLY if B2 is empty.

Right click on the sheet name tab, select "View Code" and paste in this.
