Does anyone knows how to calculate if translator is free or not, regarding that weekends are free ( I mean if weekends are free how to check if translator is able to translate a document)

doesn't that what this sheet already does? I read the post where Roy helped you build this, nothing was mentioned about excluding weekends from the calculations...it should calculate for all time right?
Are you asking to REMOVE the weekends as available time?

Yes weekends should not be included as available time

so you are saying that the "translator" will NOT be able to translate on those days?
Just add some type of weekday designations with an if statement.

I think you need to look at the NETWORKDAYS() Function

NETWORKDAYS calculates the number of workdays between two dates, have alook at the help files, I am sure that yuo can adapt it for your needs.

=IF(B2=B1;MAX(H2;N1);H2) this is formula from M column
Should I put networkdays in tihs formula so it will look like this
=IF(NETWORKDAYS(E2;F2);(B2=B1;MAX(H2;N1);H2) -

This network days is somehow not working for me if i use this function from 12/01/2006 to 14/01/2006 it gives me 2 days shouldnt it said 1 day if it excludes weekends

But 12/01/2006 to 14/01/2006 is Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Yes I got it it works fine I just dont know where to put this, to properly calculate if translator is able to translate additional document
Could you look at my workbook? Actually this workbook is work of h1h member I am just using it and have really hard time modifing it
Should i put this function somewhere in function above which resides in column G
or should I put it somwhere else
(I am really new to excel so I know very little about it) -

now weekends are considered OFF. You may extend the WORKDAY function in collumn O with holidays if need be

what about this option check this workbook and go to sheet2 where is calcualtion for mirza but somehow I dont know how to do it for more than 2 documents
